December 31, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for arrests from your information. If you have information regarding the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive or drug trafficking in our communities, then call the hotline at 1-866-652-7383. December 24, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department continues to investigate an assault/burglary that occurred at the NAPA store in Cozad. Sometime around 1:30 am on November 20th, person unknown forced his way into the store, once inside parts delivery personnel inadvertently interrupted the burglary and was assaulted with a knife. Any information that leads to an arrest will receive a cash reward.

December 17, 2007 - Dawson County law enforcement needs your help in solving crime and keeping it out of our towns and neighborhoods. If you know the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive, have anonymous information about drug activity, or have information about ANY crime, then call the Crime Stoppers Hotline. It is completely anonymous, and you get CA$H if an arrest is made from your information!

December 3, 2007 - The Gosper County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a vandalism complaint to several grave stones at the Robb Cemetery SE of Lexington. Sometime between March 1st and March 10th of this year, person(s) entered into the cemetery and caused approximately $35,000 in damages to various grave markers. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible will get a hefty CASH REWARD.

November 26, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is investigating a burglary/assault that occurred at the NAPA store in Cozad. Around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20th, person unknown forced his way into the store and was interrupted by parts delivery. The subject then attacked the delivery employee with a sharp object and fled the scene. Any information that leads to an arrest will receive a cash reward.

November 19, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers needs your help with solving crime. If you have information on any crime that has occurred and you do not believed that it has been solved, you could be eligible for a cash reward. Call the hotline, give your tip, at which time you'll be given a number. If your information results in an arrest, then use your number to collect the cash.

November 5, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is investigating a criminal mischief complaint to a motor vehicle while parked in the 300 block of Sunshine Road. Sometime around 11:45 pm on Saturday, November 3rd, person(s) unknown broke out the rear passenger window possibly using a screwdriver. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible, will receive a cash reward.

October 22, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers pays cash for your information that leads to arrests. Last week alone the Dawson County Crime Stoppers paid out $200 in response to warrant arrests. You could be the one who receives easy money too. Call the hotline, give the tip, and if the call results in an arrest you are given money! All for making one phone call, it really is that simple.

October 16, 2007 - Dawson County law enforcement needs your help in apprehending wanted fugitives. Click on the fugitive files, then call the crime stoppers hotline if you know the location of the wanted fugitive. Information that leads to the arrest of the fugitive will get you a cash reward. Remember, Crime Stoppers does not use any type of caller ID, you totally remain anonymous!

October 8, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a criminal mischief complaint to a Jaguar 890 Hay Chopper. Sometime around 09-19-07, person (s) unknown shot out the front and rear windows of a hay chopper located near 764 and Road 421. A shotgun is suspected of being used and the damage exceeded $2 ,600. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible will receive a cash reward.

October 1, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is currently investigating several complaints of damage to vehicles in the Pony Express auto lot located at South Highway 21 and Johanson Street. During the past several months, person(s) unknown have entered the auto lot and forcibly removed insignia from vehicles, causing in excess of $1,000 damage. Information that leads to an arrest will receive a cash reward.

September 17, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a theft and burglary complaint that originated near Road 764 and 410. Sometime during of 08-30-07 or 08-31-07, person(s) unknown entered into a Quonset and drove a pickup through the door. The suspects then went to a construction site where they took a trailer containing construction tools. The total estimated damage and loss exceeds $39,000.

September 10, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is investigating the theft of tools from a pickup. Sometime between Saturday (09-01-07) and Sunday (09-02-07), person(s) unknown removed tools from the pickup while parked in the Horizon Mobile Home park. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible will receive a cash reward.

August 27, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is investigating damage that occurred to a vehicle while parked overnight at the Farnam Elevator. Sometime between 6:30 pm on 08-22-07 and 7:30 am on 08-23-07, person(s) unknown took 15 gal of fuel, shot several holes in the windshield and passenger windows possibly using a .22 cal gun, and damaged the steering column and ignition of the pickup.

August 20, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is currently investigating criminal entry to an abandoned middle school in Cozad. On two occasions this month, person (s) unknown entered the building and damaged a glass basketball hoop and a window. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible will receive a cash reward.

August 13, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers encourages tipsters to call the hotline to get quick cash. Information that leads to the arrest of criminal suspects or warrants will receive cash! There is no caller id, callers are completely anonymous, so call today, you have nothing to loose and only cash to gain.

August 6, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of an ATV from the 200 block of West 5th Street in Sumner. Sometime after 9:00 pm on Sunday, July 29th, person(s) unknown took a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 600 4-wheeler, yellow in color, and valued at $7,200 from a garage. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this case or any other, will receive a cash reward.

July 30, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is currently investigating damage to a white Ford pickup. Sometime during the morning hours of Saturday, July 28th, person (s) unknown entered into the pickup located in the 1500 block of "D" Street and damaged the windshield as well as some of the interior contents. Information that leads to whoever is responsible will receive a cash reward.

July 2, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers encourages you to make the completely anonymous call to our hotline. If you have any information about a crime or the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive, call the hotline. If an arrest is made as a result of your information you get cash. June 25, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is investigating the theft of a trolling motor from the 1100 block of East 6th Street. Sometime after 1:00 pm on June 19th, person(s) removed a Minkota Rip Tide brand trolling motor valued at $474 from a boat that was parked at the victim's home. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this theft will receive a cash reward.

June 18, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers encourages anonymous callers to call the hotline to report any information that can help law enforcement. Tipsters that call the hotline to give the whereabouts of wanted fugitives will receive a cash reward if they are arrested based on their information. It is quick, it's easy, and it's cold hard CASH.

June 11, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is investigating a report of theft 500 block of East 8th Street. Sometime during the night hours of 05-24-05 or early morning hours of 05-25-07, person(s) removed a Dewalt brand hammer drill valued at $400 and caused around $100 damage to the vehicle. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this case will get paid a cash reward.

June 4, 2007 - The Gosper County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a 17 foot aluminum Ocegan canoe. The canoe had a picture of a buffalo head with arrows through the eyes painted on the side. Also stolen with the canoe were two wooden row paddles and two Sterns brand life jackets. Information that leads to whoever is responsible for this crime will receive a cash reward.

May 7, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department is investigating damage that was sustained to the men's restroom at Memorial Park. Sometime within the past few months, person(s) unknown entered into the restroom and caused damaged the fixtures and left behind an extensive amount of litter as well. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible will get a cash reward.

April 30, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a theft from rural Lexington. Sometime on 04-19-07, person(s) unknown entered into the building and removed approximately $400 of brass components. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this crime will get a cash reward.

April 23, 2007 - The Frontier County Sheriff's Office received a report of Burglary to the Darn Small Pub in Eustis. Sometime during the early morning hours of 04-21,  person(s) unknown entered the business through the front door by breaking the glass and took several bottles of hard liquor, cases of beer, and wine. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this case will receive a cash reward.

April 16, 2007 - Sometime during the past week, person(s) unknown removed a chrome air breather from a white Chevrolet Camaro parked in the 200 block of East 19th Street in Cozad. The item was priced at around $75.00. If you have Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this case or any other case, call Crime Stoppers to receive your cash reward.

April 9, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department was called to the 700 block of Meridian Avenue on 03-31-07 pertaining to damage to a motor vehicle. Extensive damage was sustained to a gray Chevrolet pickup at that area. Investigation is continuing in this matter and suspects have been developed. If you have any information about this case, or any other, call today. If an arrest is made, then you will be paid a cash reward!

March 19, 2007 - The Gosper County Sheriff's Office is requesting your help in solving a vandalism complaint involving grave stones.  Sometime between March 1st and March 10th of this year, person(s) unknown entered into the Robb Cemetery located SE of Lexington causing approximately $35,000 in damages to grave markers. Make the call today because if an arrest is made, then you will get paid a CASH reward!

March 12, 2007 - On 03-06-07, the Cozad Police Department was dispatched to the 800 block of Newell Street reference a hit and run accident. When the officers arrived, it was determined that a late 90's or early 00's maroon in color Chevrolet pickup had driven through two yards at a high rate of speed, causing extensive property damage. Make the call, if an arrest is made then you get paid-CASH$$.

March 5, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the damage and theft from a motor vehicle while parked at Tyson Quality Meats in Lexington. Sometime during the night hours of 01-28-07, person(s) unknown broke the window out of a pickup and took a radar detector, 30 cd's, a speaker, and broke the transmission handle from the column. Information that leads to an arrest will get cash!

February 26, 2007 - The Cozad Police Department responded to a call of criminal mischief to a vehicle on McCormick Drive. Sometime during the night hours of 02-04 -07 or the early morning hours of 02-05-07, person(s) broke the back window out of a vehicle parked at that location, causing approximately $300 in damages. Call today to get your reward because if an arrest is made, you will get paid, cash!

February 19, 2007 - Sometime on 01-18-07 between 5:30 pm and 7:30 am on 01-19-07, person(s) unknown drove a vehicle through a chain link fence located at the Fairbanks International of Lexington. The Dawson County Sheriff's Office was notified and responded to this complaint. The damage was extensive, totaling around $5,000. Information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this felony case will receive a cash reward.

February 12, 2007 - The Gosper County Sheriff's Office is seeking any information regarding the theft of a green 1998 Polaris 400L Xplorer ATV between the dates of 02 -01-07 and 02-02-07. The ATV was parked on a trailer at the time of the theft and the trailer was taken as well. If you give information and an arrest is made, you will get paid.

February 4, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for your anonymous tip that lead to an arrest. The Crime Stoppers program is simple. Callers contact the hotline, give their information, and are given a number to remember. Law enforcement investigates the complaint and if an arrest is made, you will get paid, cash! January 29, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office fielded two reports of burglary in Farnam. The All Points COOP was entered into and two Motorola brand radios were taken. The Country Blues Tavern was also entered into and several alcoholic beverages were taken. If you know any information, please call the toll free number. Remember if an arrest is made you get paid!

January 22, 2007 - The Dawson County Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous callers who give information that results in an arrest. If you know the whereabouts of any fugitive call the crime stoppers hotline for cash. You can access local wanted fugitives by logging onto dawsoncountyne.net/sheriff and selecting the fugitive files tab. It is that easy to get cold hard cash!

January 15, 2007 - Sometime during the evening or night hours of 01-09-07, person(s) unknown removed a 20" Husquavarna brand chain saw from a pickup bed while parked in the 700 block of Newell St. in Cozad. The value of the chain saw is approximately $500 and a cash reward will be issued for the arrest of whoever is responsible for this crime.

January 8, 2007 - On 12-21-06, the Cozad Police Department was dispatched to the 1700 block of "H" Street reference damage to a garage window. The victim reported that the damage may have occurred sometime after 10:15 pm and noted that their Christmas lights had been altered. The police department has fielded several complaints of damage in that area. Any information that leads to an arrest will receive a cash reward.

January 1, 2007 - The Dawson County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to C & S Truck & Salvage Inc. located on west Highway 30 in Lexington reference a theft complaint. When the deputy arrived, the company stated that sometime between 7:00 pm and 10:30 pm on 11-30 or 12-01-06, person(s) unknown removed a $300 radiator from the business. Information that leads to an arrest will receive a cash reward.
