Volunteer Opportunities
Crisis Line volunteers are a vital part of our program. Our 24-hour crisis line is answered by our trained volunteers. Training is provided covering domestic violence, sexual assault, listening skills, and many other subjects. You can be on the crisis line one or more times a month. Other volunteer positions available. Call Parent-Child Center today to inquire about a volunteer opportunity.
More Community Services:
Project Nanny - Trained volunteers visit each new mother both in the hospital and later at home. The purpose is to provide each family with a support system--someone to be there when a family needs help.
One-to-One - This program recognizes the need for parental involvement, supports the family concept, and provides a support for family relationships.
All programs are available at no cost to all families.
Confidentiality: The Parent-Child Center is not affiliated with any state or governmental agency, and all services are completely confidential.
